Lauren is 17 years old and college applications are creeping up. Fortunately for Lauren, she is sure of what major she wants and which field she will eventually want to work in. She enjoyed her healthcare classes the most during high school, leading her to be interested in nursing. She plans to apply to UAA as a pre-nursing major. The crisis in this stage is between knowing your future goals going into this big change in life and not knowing what you're interested in committing yourself to. -
Lauren is heavily occupied with her Nursing program at UAA. She got herself involved with a man named Marcus and while he treats her great, she cannot find herself emotionally connecting with him enough to commit to the relationship—her busy schedule being another factor. The crisis in this stage is between having the want and ability to connect with another person and feeling disconnected and lacking commitment. -
It's Lauren's 41st birthday. Instead of having a birthday centering herself, she decides to contribute to their community. She takes her husband, Marcus, and two kids to volunteer at a food bank, donate to Salvation Army, and donate to local GoFundMe's. The crisis in this stage is between wanting to do something meaningful for others and feeling the lack of urge to give back or help-out others. -
