    an oil tanker owned by Exxon shipping spilled around 11-12 million gallons of crude oil. It covered over 1300 miles of coastline and killed many seas animal and destroyed habits, it happened in Alaska's prince William sound on March 24 in 1989.

    a treaty made in Kyoto Japan in 1997 it aimed to cut gasses that cause global warming.it started in 2005 it asked 41 countries and the EU to lower six gasses by 5.2% from 1990 levels by 2012 it was a big deal but some people weren't sure it worked

    Minamata disease is methylmercury poisoning that occurred in humans who ate fish and shellfish contaminated by mehg discharged in wastewater from a chemical plant. auditory disturbances and tremors were also seen. Further, the fetus was poisoned by MeHg when their mothers ingested contaminated marine life named minata. The symptoms were extremely deadly and vicious. It started making people worry about eating sea food and other types of life that live in the ocean.
