    Jane comes to Netherfield for dinner, had gotten sick, and Elizabeth takes care of her.
  • Mr. Bingley

    Mr. Bingley arrives in Netherfield Park, which creates excitement.
  • Meryton Ball

    Mr. Bennet shows interest in Jane Bennet, who hadn't lived there. And also who was Elizabeth's older sister, whom Bennet declined a dance from.
  • William Collin proposes to Elizabeth, gets rejected.

    William Collin had tried to propose to her, but had done so off of practical reasons, rather than love, Elizabeth told him this, and rejected him.
  • Fitzwilliam Darcy fixes the Elopement

    Lydia, and George Wickham left to London, where Darcy goes to convince Wickham to marry her. He explains its to save Elizabeth's family name, and offers money for them to do it. Wickham accepts, and they get married.
  • Lydia Bennet elopes to George Wickham

    The elopement shows the Lydia's character shining through, of wanting love, and being the most reckless of the sisters. This elopement starts to bring shame on to the Bennet family.
  • Darcy's Letter to Elizabeth.

    He chose to write a letter to Elizabeth, as to why he mistreats Mr. Wickham, and his love for her, and how he wants her to visit.
  • Elizabeth goes to Fitzwilliam Darcy's estate.

    She goes to Pemberley to go to Darcy's estate, and admires how beautiful it looks. When she runs into him, he is shown as more respectful towards her, showing his true love for her.
  • Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, gets rejected.

    Mr. Darcy had tried to propose to Elizabeth in Hunsford, on a visiting trip. He was scared to marry her because of her social class, but claimed he loved her. She declined him as he basically was insulting her as he was proposing, mistreated Mr Wickham, and had known him for 1 month.
  • Mr. Darcy's second proposal.

    In the aftermath of the marriage, he chooses to propose to Elizabeth yet again, after showing how he does care, and doesn't care about social standings. He states that he's changed, and expresses his true feelings for her. She accepts happily, showing that characters can grow, and overcome social status'.
