    Little Rock Nine

    Nine African Americans teenagers became the first ever to integrate into a desegregated school and receive and education. For three weeks, Arkansas Governor Faubus ordered the National Guard to block the students from entering claiming it was for their safety. After many blocks from federal judges to withdraw troops and to no avail, President Eisenhower send U.S Army troops to protect the nine teenagers and begin their education.Rock Nine
