The trail of tears applied of a forced relocation upon Native American tribes, the tribes were made up of thousands of Cherokee, Creek, Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw people. This event in tailed they marched over 100 of miles in harsh conditions with very little food shelter and any other supplies they needed. Many died from disease, starvation, and exhaustion. The trail of tears left the mark of the suffering and violations of Native American rights.

The 3/5 compromise was an agreement addressing how enslaved people should be counted when determining a states population for representation in the House of Representatives and tax purposes. While the southern states wanted slave people to be counted fully for representation, but not for taxation the northern states that the opposite. then the 3/5 compromise opposed that the slaves population should be counted for both representations and taxation.

The scalp act was a series of laws passed through many states and territories in the US. These laws often insisted of killing Native Americans requiring a presentation of their scalp is proof. These acts were used as a tool of warfare and aimed to eliminate Native Americans population to take their land and resources.

The massacre at Mystic occurred on May 26, 1637 when English settlers and Native American allies attacked a Pequot village near the Mystic river in Connecticut. The village was set on fire, and when the Pequots tried to escape, they were killed by the English and their allies Hundreds of Pequot men, women and children were killed in the massacre, breaking the power of the Pequot tribe.

The battle of Tippecaneo Was fought in 1811 between US forces led by General Williams, Henry Harrison and Native American warriors associated with the Shawnee leader Tecumseh and his brother Tenskwatawa. The battle resulted in heavy casualties on both sides, when damaged Tecumseh’s confederacy by distributed efforts to unite Native American tribes against U.S expansion increase tensions between the US and Native American tribes continuing outbreaks of the war in 1812.

The Missouri compromise was a US legislation passed in 1820 that wanted to regulate slave slavery in the western territories. This compromise was meant to prevent further conflict over slavery, but ultimately prove to be a temporary solution as tensions continue to rise up and lead to the Civil War
