1914- Tokalah is six years old and is kidnapeed from his bio family. He is taken by former soldiers of the Contestado army who are looking fro work and is sold to some miner.

1915 - Tokalah is recued from a mining camp by Mother Hildegarde and placed in an orphanage.

1918- Mother Hildegarde dies and the orphanged is dibanded and the orphans snt away. Tokalah is sent to a horrible orphanage full of priests who put there hands where they don't belong. He runs away and after being caught stealing from Murtagh and being throttled, murtagh takes him in and raises him. Teaching him blacksmithing.

1924-27 A Rebellion -The rebellion began well, with control of São Paulo being secured after the governor and forces loyal to him abandoned the city early on 9 July. The rebels in the city were put under siege by government forces, and prevented from linking up with other uprisings which were breaking out in places such as Bela Vista, Mato Grosso, Aracaju, Sergipe and Manaus.

This is where he meets Fymryn, a young and beautiful woman. She and him begin to meet up and get to know each other. He admires her aprit, She was in France when Paris became free and introduces him to her friends Veronique and her husband Pierre Philippe Millereau. Fymryn has at this time the attention of an artist but he is a cruel man who at one point tries to beat her. Which Tokalah stops. Fymryn goes to study for a year or two in Paris. Fymryn asks him to leave but she regrets it instantly.

Tokalah returns to Paris, he meets Pierre who gifts Tokalah a letter Fymryn left for him and her forwading adress. T thanks him and travels to the mountains. What he doesn't know is that CA(ex)will kill Pierre tonight. She falls for him right as the stock market crashes. They reconnect and realise that to live without each other is to live half a life and that one day they will die. To damn the consquences and choose love. Fymryn boards the train that Tokalah is on, Tokalah asks her to marry him

1930- Brazillian revoloution, Tokalah and Fymryn travel around Europe. Tokalah mails Murtagh a letter telling the latter he has married, though he neglects to mention Fymryn' name, he tells that he is sorry and hopes to make amends. He tells Murtagh I love you Father. Murtagh sheds a tear knowing his son is alive. -

1936- After wandering for tthree years Tokalah hears that Murtagh is in Scotland. He goes to Scotland to patch things up with his adoptive father. His plan is too patch things up with Murtagh, leave Sonsa in Murtagh's care and leav to kill himself. But Murtagh stops him. Tokalah heals. Murtagh puts Tokalah to work at whiskey smugggling in the highlands and also running his blacksmithing shop in town.

1938- Murtagh returns to the Amazon and suggests that Tokalah does the same but he refuses. Murtagh gives Tokalah his secret whiskey making still as in the highlands whiskey making was tolerated. It was part of the culture.

WW2 breaks out not long after and Tokalah joins up but not before Onya finds out she is pregnant, Tokalah tells everyone that Onya was a virgin, Tokalah leaves Sonsa in Onya's care. Murtagh left for Manuas just before war broke out.
