    The curtains moved with the wind and the narrator had gotten a new fear and made himself think it was just a visitor at the door.

    The narrator was surprised at how fast the Raven responded but the Raven only responded with the word nevermore.

    The narrator sat in his chair for a while thinking why the birds fierce eyes stared into him, and remembered that he will never have the women he loved sitting next to him.

    The Raven never left the mans room and it still looks like demons are looking into the narrator , the lamp makes shadows of the Raven and he will never escape the Raven or be free of the animal in his room.

    The narrator had a cold dark night and the fire was dying and made shapes on the ground and he was heartbroken thinking about his love, Lenore.

    The narrator opened the window and a large black Raven flew into the room and sat on a perch above his door.

    The narrator didn't fear the bird he smiled and then asked the Raven its name and it said it was nevermore.

    The narrator was surprised that the bird could talk back to him even though his answers didn't make much sense.

    The Raven sat perched quietly as the narrator started whispering to him and he still responded again with nevermore.

    The narrator moved his chair to face the Raven and stared at it to think why that the only thing the Raven said was nevermore.

    Then the air started to smell of sweet perfume and the narrator asked if the Raven got sent by God to help him grief his love and the Raven said nevermore

    The narrator yelled at the Raven and asked is there any thing to help my grief and the Raven said nevermore.

    The narrator then asked if he will ever see his love. Lenore again, or will he go and see her and the Raven said nevermore

    The narrator shouted at the Raven to leave and to never come back or leave any trace of him and the Raven responded by saying nevermore
