As he stood looking into the darkness and whispered "Lanore" and only a soft echo could be heard -
Sad sound of curtians moving while thinking of his wife he kept telling himself it was a visitor wanting to come in. -
the raven being present made him feel calm so he pulled up a chair and sat infrount of it and thought why it only said nevermore -
As the raven sat there he whispered my other friends left me this bird will too then the raven said nevermore. -
He opened the window to a large black raven and it perched on a statue above the door -
He want back inside to hear another tap at the window he kept repeating "it's just the wind" -
He was amazed that the bird could talk. No one had even seen a bird perched above a door saying a word like nevermore. -
he sat there for a while thinking deeply while the raven into his soul -
the raven never left and sits in the same spot everyday and he will never be free of it -
Then he cried and asked if the raven was sent from God again of something from the underworld still crying out all the raven said was nevermore -
He cried out again tell me the truth are you sent to test me? will I ever see my Lenore again he cried, all the bird said was lanore
