Then the air starts to thicken and the man smells sweet perfume he says to the raven god has sent you and says that he wants to forget Lenore and the raven responds never more

the man calls the bird a prophet or devil he asks the bird to tell him the truth and the bird says never more

He yells at the bird to leave tells it to go back into the storm but the raven responds never more
