I was born on April, 29th, 2007
-
I begin to see the world through my senses and motor actions. I start to develop skills such as being able to understand that objects continue to exist even when I can not physically see, hear, or feel it. To sum this stage up, I start to understand whats going on around me.
-
basic problem solving and language development, start to play with toys and learn to follow simple instructions.
-
Developing language, putting words together to make sentences, imagination, develop an understanding of cause and effect.
-
I started my first day of Elementary School at Bottenfield Elementary School.
-
When my first and only brother was born I was only 5 years old at the time. It was a very big moment for me and my family as it is a big transition from having one kid to having two. I don't really remember much from that day but I just remember feeling excited and proud to be a big brother.
-
I start to develop new skills such as problem solving skills, and being able to organize and sort through my thoughts.
-
Development of Logical thinking, ability to remember more things, start to take academics seriously as academic setting increases.
-
Abstract thinking, learn how to solve difficult problems whether that be in school or in the real world, go through puberty, figure out my identity(the type of person i'm going to be going forward in life).
-
starts to develop the ability to think more abstract, logically, and realistically. This is another example of part of Jean Piaget's theory on cognitive development.
-
My first day of high school at Champaign Central
-
I got up really early in the morning and went to the DMV in Monticello with my Mom to get my license.
-
I will start my first day of College at either UIUC or Parkland Pathways. I'm going to major in either Kinesiology or Health Sciences to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
-
-
During this time frame I will begin to pursue my career and focus on the most important things in my life such as my relationships and my career. Erik Erikson's theory focuses on the development of successful relationships and how important social connections are to psychological development.
-
-
After graduating from college with a degree in Kinesiology, I hope to be able to get a job in that field such as being a Physical Therapist. I know it will not be the most high paying job at first but I plan on working my way up.
-
Getting married will be a big change in my life. I will face new obstacles such as understanding my wife's emotions, solving problems, and building a strong and healthy marriage.
-
This will be a huge moment in my life as it brings on more responsibilities.
-
-
I want to be able to purchase my first home and move into it at least within 10 years after graduating college.
-
-
-
-
I start to "reflect" on everything that has happened over the course of my life. During this stage I will either feel content with my life choices or not content and will have regrets. Develop certain cognitive changes such as slower processing speed and difficulties remembering different things. Face new obstacles such as retirement and adapting to physical changes within my body.
