It may have seemed like Britian had won but compared to the Colonists, the Bristish had lost more people then Colonists and it prooved they could stick up for themselves. There was a winter camp during the Revolutionary war. George Washington lead this army. Under his leadership the army became better disclipined and more brought together. Doing this during winter brought many challenges including disease and many other things.

2000 British and Loyalist troops took action in this. Defeated over 4,000 American troops. This is so significant because this was one of the biggest losses of the American Revolution. The American troops were commanded by the "Hero of Saratoga."

This was an agreement that only 3 our of 5 slaves would be counted in a states total population. This compromise ended around when the Civil War was started. Lot's of states did not agree with the 3/5 Compromise.

The Great compromise, in other words the Connecticut Compromise. This is a big agreement that was resolved the deadlock between small states. Representation in the New Congress.

The Bill of Rights was presented by President Washington in October of 1789. These rights are also known as the 10 amendments. By December of 1791 it went dow to 10 instead of 12. The amendments are powers given to the federal government.
