Southampton-America
After two months on a dangerous voyage on the ship `` mayflower`` from Southampton across the Atlantic to America, they can finally go ashore. On the ship there were 102 passengers. Two children were born, two died of sickness and one was swept at sea. They came ashore with 101 passengers. During one of the storms broke one mast. All began to wonder if they would be able to come forward. Because if something went wrong, there was no kind of help. -
United states America
the passengers on "May Flower" was the first people who traveled from Europe and settle in America (USA). The first people to settle, settled down in an area where the Indians had traveled from, because an epidemic. But the settlers could not escape from sickness and sufferings. Almost half of the passengers on "May Flower" died the first hard winter because of hunger. the Indians nearby were friendly, and gave away their own food to save lives. -
New York
In year 1621 was New York founded by the dutch. Before New york was founded was it named Nieuw Amsterdam. The story says that there was a group settler who bought the area where Nieuw Amsterdam was built. They should have bought it from the Indians, to charge with glass beads which today would have had a value of $ 25. -

The colonial war ended in 1763, and Great Britain took over the French colonies in North America. -

After the colonial war, it was not as big a need for British soldateri in America as previously. Great Britain had spent too much money on warfare against frank kingdom in both Europe and America. So to make up some of the costs, they introduced the tax on trade between the 13 American colonies on the east coast of North America and the motherland.The new generations grew up, and thought this was just nonsense. -
Boston Tea Party

After a while they began to protest violently against the fees to some places they had to insert British soldiers to prevent rebellion. After a while they cut down on fees, but it was still taxes on tea. When three ships with tea came to the harbour in boston sneaked British-Americans aboard the ship to roll tea at sea. They were dressed as Mohawk, an Indian tribe who had been allied with the British Shorthairs. -

American Declaration of Independence, is the document where the thirteen colonies in the United States declares itself independent from Britain and set the basis for this. docum was completed 4 July, 1776. This day is celebrated as America's Independence Day. The Declaration of Independence was largely written by Thomas Jefferson, it was and document that has been of great importance for other countries and peoples struggle for self-determination. document was in mind inspired by John Locke.
