    The narrator was reading books late one night to forget about his love when he heard knocking at his door.

    The narrator is talking and its a dark late night fire is dying and he is heartbroken thinking of his love.
  • Stanza 10

    Stanza 10

    The raven just sat there and the only word it knew how to say was "Nevermore" He thought the bird would leave him to just like his friends and all the raven said "Nevermore"

    it seemed like the air around him was thickening he smelled sweet perfume then angels entered the room and they said "God has sent you," he cried he begged the raven for peace by making him forget Lenore.

    He was amazed that the bird could talk but he knew the bird wasn't answering him much but he was still amazed and the bird stayed perched above the door and kept saying "Nevermore"

    He was startled that the bird answered so quickly he thought the bird only knew that word because of its owner he thought the only word the owner must've known was "Nevermore"

    He shouted at the bird to leave he said "Leave, go back to the storm!" He didn't want a trace of the birds lies left behind he wanted the bird to take its shadow away and get off of the statue he wanted the bird to take its break out of his heart and all the raven said was "Nevermore"

    The raven never left it still sits on the statue above his door its eyes look like demon eyes col and burning the lamp light throws a shadow of the bird on the floor that haunts the man. He will never be free. Nevermore.

    He asked for the truth by anyone even if it had to be the devil he asked if the raven was sent to test him or if the raven is just lost he asked for the truth and all the raven said was "Nevermore"

    The narrator is talking and he grew brave and went to go open the door to find no one just darkness.

    The narrator is talking and he is standing there looking into the darkness nervously and full of thoughts as he spoke and said "Lenore" but just the echo of his voice responded.

    Narrator talking he opens his window even wider then a large raven flew and and didn't land on anything else but the statue above his door of athena the goddess of wisdom the bird sat there and didn't move.

    The ravens presence made him feel calm he grabbed a chair and pulled it up and put it in front of the bird and and stared at the bird and thought trying to guess what the bird was there for.

    He sat there and the ravens eyes stared right to his heart he then leaned back into velvet cushions the light glowing softly but he realized the woman he loved would never be beside him again.

    The narrator is talking and his curtains are moving with the wind and he feels safe and the person at the door is still knocking,

    Narrator talking he comes back inside heart is racing then he hears another tapping but this time on his window he goes over and opens it nothing just the wind.

    He didn't fear the bird he smiled because he thought the bird looked brave then he asked the bird its name and the bird replied with "Nevermore"

    He asked again for the truth by anyone God the devil, the bird he just wanted the truth he asked if he will ever be beloved by Lenore again he asked if he will ever hold her again and all the raen said was "Nevermore"
