In my opinion, the number of people that can be integrated, in order to integrate succesfully, is around 10% of the city's population, just like in Tylos. So the ideal number would be about 5.000 refugees. I think that it is a very good persentage proportionally to the population. -
The refugees would live in shelters and asylums built especially for them, in order to have an easy time finding a place to live while immigrating. Also, abandoned buildings, like Xenias, can be reconstructed so that they can accommodate even more people. The conditions won't be the best, but it would be better than living in the streets. -
They would work at minimum wage, working as cashiers waiters or sometimes construction workers, but as time passes they could start working in higher paid positions and also use a degree if they have one. Furthermore if someone is good at something, like baking or sewing, they can help locals in that area. They can start building their lives again in a new country. -
My school can organize some events, like a school dance, where money is going to be collected so that the needs of refugees can be covered. Also, they can organize bazaars where different items will be sold in order to make more money. Moreover they can ask from the students to bring old clothes or things in their houses that they don't use, even food for the refugees. Schools can provide classes to that the refugges can laern the language. It is very important that we help us students. -
The benefits for the local community are a lot. Firstly the refugees are going to spend their allowance on the local shops so they will boost the economy. In addition to this they will enhance the diversity of the region. They will transform it in a multicultural center. Also, the intercourse with the locals will add elements of their culture to ours. The city is going to be the best version of itself.
