In an effort to destroy the U.S Pacific Airfleet carrier, Yamamoto launched a suprise attack. However, Admiral Nimitz knew about this and had his carriers be ready and ambush the Japanese. This led to an American naval victory and marked a turning point in Pacific War.

Allied forces land on Normandy, France to liberate Europe from Germany. The Allied forces were able to move inland even with the heavy force from the German forces. Failure to defend Normandy doomed Hitler's idea of a controlled Europe and marked the beginning of the end for Germany.

In an effort to break up the alliance between the U.S, Britain, and France, Hitler launched a massive attack. The Allies were bombarded and were followed by a armored attack. The Germans were successful for the first two days, but since they were low on fuel they had to leave their tanks. The Allies counter attacked and won the battle.

The U.S dropped the first atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. After this the Japanese government surrendered to the U.S and its allies ending the war.
