On the days of the 9th and 10th, Nazi officers had ordered SS, SA and Hitler Youths to set on a surge of different pogrom’s across Germany and Austria. The soldiers vandalised Jewish businesses and just wreaked havoc on Jewish citizens. The attacks were later known as Kristallnacht or The "Night of Broken Glass" due to all the glass that was smashed from the Jewish businesses.

By early 1939, German dictator Adolf Hitler was determined to invade and seize Poland. The British and French however, already had military support in Poland in the case of an attack from Germany.
At 12:40 PM on August 31, 1939, Hitler gave the orders to invade Poland. The British and French in response to the invasion declared war on Germany on September the 3rd at times 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The Second World War has commenced. -
Many Jews, homosexuals and others were taken to Auschwitz to work and many in fact died. Even if they were innocent. The Nazi’s were trying to make the world and “idealistic” and “perfect” world in their eyes. The prisoners were treated very poorly. They worked hard and starved to the point of skeletons. -
On the 7th of December 1941 the Japanese made a surprised bombing on America’s main Naval station. The Americans were not prepared and it was kinda foolish of them to have a main Naval station in the middle of the Pacific with hardly any defence. -
On the 19th of February 1942 an attack against Australia's Northern Territory’s capital, Darwin. This was known as the bombing of Darwin. THis was the most single attack by foreigners on Australian soil. With two raids 235 people killed with 300 to 400 wounded. -
