Schools can help in a plethora of ways. First and foremost, they should raise awareness of the situation so that xenophobia can be prevented. Older students should be encouraged to help younger refuge schoolchildren with homework and make them feel welcome and included. -
Refugees provide communities with numerous benefits such as economic, social and cultural ones. Not only can they contribute to the local economy, but they can also enrich communities through diverse skills and perspectives.
