New feature: Year-only dates

Year-only dates make timeline creation more flexible when the exact month or day is unknown, especially for historical events.

Today I am announcing the availability of the latest Timetoast feature: year-only dates.

You may not always know the exact date that an event occurred — it may simply be unknown, possibly having occurred hundreds or thousands of years ago.

We're now making both the month and day optional when adding (or changing) dates in your timelines.

When displaying dates in the timeline interface, we will continue to do our best to figure out the best way to show your date.

This is a great addition for anyone wanting to make a timeline with our timeline maker.

Go make a timeline today to try out this great new feature.
