  • Hitler declared chancellor of Germany

    On January 30th 1933 President Paul Von Hindenburg named Adolf Hitler the leader of the national socialist German workers party (Nazis)

  • The letter

    On 2 of August 1939 Scientist Albert Einstein Had written a letter to president Roosevelt stating that he had made a discovery that with a split of atoms they could create an atomic bomb and he was afraid that Germany had made the same discovery and could be preparing a bomb So the US used Einsteins findings to create their own bomb to use against the Germans.

  • WW2 Starts

    On September 1st Hitler initiates an attack o Poland which Makes Poland's allies Britain and France to declare war on Germany.

  • Soviet Union invade Poland

    On September 17th 1939 Hitler initiates the invasion of Poland as he falsely claimed that the polish were planning with its allies to dismember Germany.

  • The Blitz

    On September 7th 1940 a German bombing campaign against the UK which were spontaneous bombings which occurred until May 11 1941 with the last and biggest attack.

  • Operation Barbarossa

    In June of 1941 Hitler began Operation Barbarossa which was the code name for the invasion of the soviet union as he believed that the soviet union was weak and could be easily defeated

  • Pearl Harbour

    In December of 1941 The Japanese aircraft had attacked the US pacific fleet which was based in Pearl Harbour in Hawaii

  • Truly a Global War

    In the aftermath on the Pearl Harbour attack the US had officially began war on the Japanese which lead to Germany declaring war on the US which made This a truly Global war.

  • Atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

    6 years after Albert's Letter To President Roosevelt about a worry that the Germans had found a way to make an atomic bomb the US (even though it was made to use against the Germans) thought that using their creation they could finally end the war between Japan and the US.

  • WW2 ends after Japan surrenders

    After the attack on Hiroshima an Nagasaki that lead around 226,000 dead the Japanese Surrendered from the war and the US general accepted the surrender the war was officially over lasting 6 years.
