Read Flat Stanley books a lot, these books were my favorite to read during this time. -
Loved playing with letter magnets, liked spelling words. -
I was obsessed with Rainbow Magic books, they were the only books I loved reading. I also loved spelling challenging words because I came into realization that I was good at it. -
I started to love to read scary/paranormal/horror books, and I started to prefer to read longer books as reading was easy for me, bigger words were easier to define. -
I was in the National Junior Honor Society in middle school and I would go on field trips and read with/to elementary students. -
I continued to volunteer to go along on field trips to read with/to elementary students. I also went to the library a lot and picked out horror books, at this point I liked reading long books. -
I was put in an honors English class, this continued to help me as a writer as I began to learn how to properly write essays at a high-school level. -
I began volunteering at a program that helps children how to better their literacy skills, I helped them with many different skills and I would help them read as they read themselves, or I would read with them. I also was in another honors English class and this class helped me even more with my skills as a writer.
