    Birth of St Catherine

    Catherine was born on March 25, 1347 as a twin. her twin didn't survive because they were born into the Black death and her parents dyed cloth. She was the 25th Child

    St Catherine begins worshiping God and Praying.

    She was aged 5 and was full of wisdom of God
  • 1363

    St Catherine's Sister, Bonaventura died.

    this happened when Catherine was 16.

    Joined the St Dominic Group

  • 1368

    She had a "Mystical Marriage with Christ"

    When Catherine was 21, She had a vision of Jesus, His mother and his disciples coming into her room while she worked and giving a diamond and gold ring to her. She was the only one that could see it and described it as her "Mystical Marriage to God."

    She began writing letters to Pope's about issues with the Church

    Death

    St Catherine died at the age of 33 on April 29 1380. It is believed because of her extreme fasting.

    She Got sick.

    By the time she was 33, She fell very sick because of her extreme habit of eating. Her doctor told her to eat but she said she found it hard to. A few weeks later she was unable to use her legs and she couldn't eat or drink. She had a stroke a week before she died.
