    King leads a March in Montgomery, Alabama, that leads to violence from state troopers. King then leads them once more, and violence once again sparks. Then he leads them a third time,e but with National Guardsmen. The Voting rights act was then enabled.

  • Civil Right Leader, Malcom X assassinated

    Malcom was a major help to fighting for colored rights, but was sadly killed during a freedom speech he was giving

  • Black Panther Party Founded

    Group created to protect colored neighborhoods from Police brutality

  • Loving v. Virginia

    Declared it was unconstitutional for Virginia to prohibit interracial marriages

  • Assassination of MLK Jr.

    1Martin Luther King Jr. was shot on the balcony of his motel, which resulted in a law that made it unlawful for state sellers, landlords, and financial institutions to refuse to rent, sell, or provide financing to someone for reasons other than their financial resources

  • Black Lives Matter Movement is created

    After the death of Trayvon Martin due to being shot by Officer George Zimmerman, the foundation Black Lives Matter was created

  • Deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Tamir Rice

    Three deaths that happend from the span of July 2014 to November 2014 as a result of Police Brutality. Their ages ranging from 12 to 18 years old.

  • Walter Scott Killed

    Scott was shot five times by an officer that was later fired and arrested

  • Alton Sterling and Philando Castile Killed

    Sterling killed after a report of a disturbace outside a shop that he had nothing to do with. And Castile killed while out driving with his girlfriend.Both deaths days after each other in July, only a few days after BLM protests.

  • Breonna Taylor killed

    Officers raided Breonnas apartment and shot her 8 times. Her family later filed a lawsuit against the officers for their terrors.

  • George Floyd killed

    "I can't breathe" the last words Floyd mutter while a police officer kneeled on his neck for more than 9 minutes after arresting him

  • Daunted Wright, Killed

    Wright was pulled over and while he tried to flee officer shouted "Taser!" at him and instead of being tased, Wright was shot.
