Right after I graduated from high school. I started going to an english academy to enhance this language.
-
I felt comfortable in this academy. However, I started noticing that the teachers did not focus much on writing.
Instead, they focused their methods mainly on speaking and grammar. This was acceptable to me, but at the time I did not place much importance on developing my writing skills -
I was still attending the English academy. My grades were great, but I wasn't confident enough to talk with self-assurance.
-
Before starting college. I continued going to English classes for two more years. So, I can confirm that much of what I know is due to that academy. However, I was still insecure about my speaking abilities.
-
The day of my first English class in college arrived, I was excited to how things were going to develop in my undergraduate degree. (talking about my english development)

In my second semester, in the course English II, we had some assignments that required us to attend classes twice a week at a specific time in order to get extra credit. So, tried to attend as often as possible to earn that score.
However, I never imagined that those meeting would be extremely helpful for developing my speaking skills and overcoming my shyness -
The speaking encounters in my third semester were a beneficial to me in all the areas of english. I still want to continue developing my writing skills, though. So, I hope this semester is as valuable as the previous one.
