In the 4th grade I was selected by my principle to read a short essay that I wrote on flag day in front of the school and some parents who attended.

In my 6th grade English class my teacher had my classmates and I write poems based off of a book that we read in class.

Reading certain papers and having to translate certain things to my parents because all though they speak English they aren't native speakers which can make reading comprehension a bit more difficult.

This year was the first year that I have properly read and annotated which allowed me to understand the book it's self a lot more clearly.
