John Dalton was an English chemist who's theory is called "Dalton's Atomic Theory". He discovered that all elements are made up of atoms which are impossible to destroy, all atoms in the same element are similar while atoms from different elements are different, and how atoms from different elements combine to make compounds which have to have a ratio in definite whole numbers.
