    Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty was signed by the U.S. and Soviet Union .It got rid of nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with intermediate ranges that can go between 300-3,400 miles.

    The Berlin Wall was a barrior between East and West Berlin.In 1989 the East Berlin Government said that all east german citizens could go to West German.After that the wall was taken down .

    When East and West Germany were reunited after being serperate since the end of WWII.

    The Warsaw Pact is dissolved at a meeting in Prague.
