believed that they should freely determine their own governments.

would be anti-Soviet if they were permitted free elections,
opposed the West’s plans. -

President Truman had got alarmed from seeing the British withdrawl. He thought it might expand of the Soviet Union going to Mediterran Area. So he got on the move and told that they would send help and money to kick out the communist. -

The divison of Germany

It was a plan in which it would designed to rebuild the prosperity
and stability of war-torn Europe. They had 13 billion to aid Europes economy. Although communist were very good with countries that had bad economic. It wasnt meant to harm them but they seen it as a support for the USA. -

Nikita Khrushchev which became a new leader of western germany wanted to contol the american missiles which failed. Later the eastern germans were getting tired of communist and would go to western which later bulit a wall to seperate them. -

Party in 1956, Khrushchev condemned Stalin for his
administrative violence, mass repression, and terror. -

Europe. Moreover, the Soviets exploited Eastern
Europe economically for their own benefit and made
living conditions harsh for most people -

While the cold war the usa had involved in other things under President Lyndon B. Johnson, increasing
numbers of U.S. troops were sent to Vietnam. Their
purpose was to keep the Communist regime of North
Vietnam from gaining control of South Vietnam.
