    Passed by the British parliament it was created as a tax on all american colonists and required them to be taxed on all paper items.
  • Gaspee Affair

    Gaspee Affair
    <a href='http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/related/gaspee.htm' > A ship on the outside of Newport was on its way to Providence when its Captain steered the ship into shallow waters until it arrived at a area called Gaspe Point. A plan created by John brown with a group of fifty five men and later that day they surrounded the ship plundered its supplies and dragged the crew to the shore while the raiders burned the ship.

    A act of revolt were the colonists dumped one million dollars worth of tea into the harbor after the British troops had started to station in Boston.
