    The Proclamation of 1763 was created to not let the colonists settle past the Appalachian Mountians. The colonists wanted to settle wherever they wanted,but the British thought that if they let them settle past they would get into another war with the Native Americans. This lead to the American Revolution because the colonists wanted to go farther and the British wouldn't let them and they were getting upset.
