Tecumsehs father dies
Tecumsehs father died at the battle of point pleastant.Tecumseh’s father, Puckeshinwa, participated in the war, losing his life during a retreat across the Ohio River in the October 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant. That was a big part of Tecumsehs life beceause he had no role model or dad growwing up. -

Tecumsehs village was raided
Tecumseh's village was attacked by mounted militia under John Bowen. The Shawnee fought back but werent strong enough. migrated down the Ohio River. Some stayed in Ohio, but others like, Tecumseh's mother continued to Missouri. Tecumseh was then raised by Chiksika and his older sister Tecumapease. -

Tecumseh and his brother settle in prophets town
The two brothers accepted an invitation from the Potawatomi to move to the Tippecanoe River near what is now Lafayette, Indiana. The new village was called Prophetstown and Tenskwatawa was refered to as "The Prophet". Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa finally reunited there. -

Governor Harrison marched with an army of about 1,000 men to disperse the confederacy's headquarters at Prophetstown, near the confluence of the Tippecanoe and Wabash Rivers.So Tecumseh was unaware and attacked back and led four hundred armed warriors from Prophet's town confront Harrison at his Vinsenne's home. This was very brave and courageous. -
