    Pierre Duhem was born in June 10, 1861 in Paris, France. Having a difficult life ahead of him he never left his passion of learning and was known later in his life as always having a book from latin authors on him. Pierre Duhem was a Physicist, Historian and Philosopher, who his main focus was in thermodynamics contributing in a lot into energetic research. With everything going on in his life history and philosophy came into play for him to understand his studies further.

    Pierre Duhem believe in experiments being results of clasifying and describing physical theories. leading him to study Leonardo Da Vinci and the medieval physics and astronomy. On doing so Duhem redefine medieval studies ranking him as the top leader to do so.

  • La Théorie Physique by Pierre Duhem

    Pierre Duhem came out with a philosophy book called La Theorie Physique in 1906 which later was translated to English in 1954 by Louis de Broglie (1892-1987). Pierre Duhem presented his philosophical views in three categories. Instrumentalist, The Underdetermination of Theories by Evidence, and Conformation Holism.
