A pioneer of radioactivity and it’s application Marie Curie was born on November 8th, 1865 in Warsaw Poland. -
Marie Curie at the age of 26 moves to Paris to study at the famous university Sorbonne. -
Marie meets Perrie Curie at the university and they get married. -
While doing some experiments Marie discovers pure Radium. -
Marie and her husband are awarded the Nobel prize for their work on with radioactive materials. -
Pierre is killed in an accident and Marie takes his spot teaching at the university. She is the first female professor to teach there.
