Paternal Grandparents
Mum's paternal grandparents were William D. Ault and his second wife Mary Jane McGruer, both were born in southern Ontario. They were one of many Ault families living on farms near Iroquois, Dundas County. William was a direct descendant of Johannes, and his son Michael Ault, United Empire Loyalists, who were granted land for services rendered to the British, in association with the American independence from Britain in the latter half of the 1770s. -
