David Bloor became a lead influence within the Strong Programme. The group sought to provide evidence and explanation for theories in the manner of scientific investigation. Bloor was awarded his PhD by the University of Edinburgh for his thesis, Speech and Regulation of Behavior. Link text It was found that verbalization and physical motion were two separate entities in regards to brain capacity. One did not appear to affect the capability to control the other. -

This book was written by David Bloor in his early years of philosophical influence. He was heavily swayed by Wittgenstein.
