    In 1822, Auguste Comte published “A Programme of Scientific Work required for the Reorganization of Society” which continued the expansion of his philosophy.
  • The publishing of "Positive Philosophy"

    Known as the father of Sociology, Auguste "developed his major work, "Positive Philosophy", while he was hospitalized for the course of 15 years."(Shubhi,2023). This work consisting of 6 volumes, explained that society operates under a certain set of rules, this being, similar to the physical world. This philosophy grew into a science that we still teach today.
  • The publication of “System of Positive Polity”

    After a loving relationship with Clotilde de Vaux, a French aristocrat and writer, "He made another contribution to the subject after his beloved’s demise in 1846 which was known as the “System of Positive Polity”(Shubhi,2023).   • Publication of "Religion of Humanity"

    "While the different forms of deism preserve the idea of God and dissolve religion into a vague religiosity, Comte proposes exactly the contrary: a religion with neither God nor the supernatural"(Michel Bourdeau,2022). Though having little success and simultaneously turning both believers and mom-believers against him, this philosophy is still something to study and learn from today, as he describes religion as "the state of complete harmony peculiar to human life".
