Nic was born in Prussia Poland. He dad was a native Krakow and trader and Nic's mom was part of a family of high mercantile as well as a civic standing. He was the oldest of four children

Nick's parents died when Nick was ten years of age. His uncle soon adopted him and took care of him for many years.

Nick went to the university of Krakow, Poland. He went to colleges and universities around this area until the year 1506. He studied Cannon Law (which means church law), Latin, astronamy, and medicine. His favorite was astronomy. The things his professors taught him were later disproven.

After many years of going to colleges and universities, Nick finally graduated.
