03/14/1961 | Borlaug To India | Borlaug accepts a peace mission to India, as India encounters its first "Age of Triage" which was a massive famine. Norman Borlaug was sent in order to solve problems with food there. |

07/27/1963 | Establishment of CIMMYT | Rockefeller Foundation formally establishes the CIMMYT. (Center for International maize and yeast treatment). |

02/19/1965 | Indi-Pakistan War | The negative effects that this war placed upon agriculture was devastating. Millions of farms were destroyed, and by having this war, it delayed the agricultural revolution that Borlaug was about to start in India. |

09/11/1965 | Dwarf Wheat Acception | India accepts the dwarf wheats, and governments fund farmers to try this new variety of crops. |

06/20/1970 | Nobel Peace Prize | Norman Borlaug accepts the Nobel Peace Prize for agricultural success in India. |
