06/06/1997	Graduation from St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY	Everyone said that my smile went from ear to ear. I couldn't believe what a great day it was. My 2 college graduated kids & my sister & her family all proudly witnessed my joy. It was my birthday AND I was going to soon realize my dream of teaching.
09/08/1997	My first Teaching Assignment	I was hired as a permanent substitute fro Woodhull Elementary School. It was a building that housed only 6th grade. It was a pre-middle school idea that worked beautifully. The principal was an awesome guy name Mel Combs. The faculty was very inviting.
04/15/1998	Leave replacement	Marie Tinti is having a baby!! Yay!!! I get to take over her class for the remainder of this year AND all of next year ~ Teaching of all wonderful things ~ Math~ this was my area of concentration in college. I cannot believe my good fortune.
09/07/1999	7th grade math teaching position st Wm. Paca Jr. High	I have no idea what I'm going to teach my math students but I'm so happy to be doing it. I'm assigned to work with a TEAM of teachers who all share the same students ~ What a great concept. I meet Nancy Castagna who doesn't realize it yet but we become BFF's
12/18/2004	MY 1st Grandchild- Sofia - is born	One of the happiest days of my life!!!
05/25/2005	Graduation form Graduate School from Stony Brook University	Finally! This section of my life felt like it took for fracken-ever!!!
04/27/2006	My 2nd Grandchild - Isabella- is born	One of the happiest days of my life!!!
05/13/2007	Recognition Dinner for 10 years of service	I got to thank Phyllis Palma for having such faith in me to hire me AND kept th position open while I got my MATH EXTENSION so I could teach at Paca. My school friends cheered me on when I got my plaque
06/25/2007	Member of Middle school committee	Worked with administrators & teachers from both middle schools to help develop a middle school schedule. Double math & english classes
09/16/2010	Committee to select a new AP at Paca	Was honored to be asked to help select a new AP to replace Ed Plaia
05/17/2011	I become a Union Representative at Wm. Paca Middle School	I have the good fortune of representing the awesome teachers, my colleagues, at Wm. Paca. I hope I always serve them well
