Lincoln 1_tiny 11/06/1860 Abraham Lincoln's election Abraham Lincoln was elected as the 16 president. It was important because he started the fight agains slavery.
2_tiny 12/20/1860 Succession The successsion is when Abraham Lincoln was president and the states divided depending on their beliefes.
3_tiny 09/22/1862 Emensipation Proclamation The Emensipation proclimation said that every slave that is held in the rebels states are now free. Although it didnt end slavery it did capture the hearts of millions of americans to fight for freedom.
