09/02/1754	Albany Plan of Union	Plan proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1754 that aimed to unite the 13 colonies for trade, military, and other purposes; the plan was turned down by the colonies and the Crown
03/05/1770	Boston Massacre	Five colonists are killed by the British in Boston
12/16/1773	Boston Tea Party	Men dressed as Indians destoryed tea shipments of three ships in protest of Britain.
09/05/1774	First Continental Congress	A meeting of representatives of all the colonies
05/10/1775	Second Continental Congress	Second assembly of colony representatives; effectively started the Revolutionary War
