The Roaring 20s
The major economic boom that followed WWI. Marked by a legacy of partying and opulence. Many famous art forms and artworks were born out of this time including jazz music and "The Great Gatsby". Isolationism
Although this idea was certainly not created at this time by this man it was the best addition I could find for Module 4. The idea is that countries should avoid external conflict and work to achieve national progress. General Smedley Butler was a large proponent of isolationism at this time.

The Attack on Pearl Harbor

The Battle of the Bulge

The Truman Doctrine

The Civil Rights Movement
The movement to achieve equal rights and freedoms for Black people. The most notable figure was Martin Luther King Jr. Those that protested often faced great backlash and violence. The Vietnam War
The Vietnam war was a conflict between the communist Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) and the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). Women's' Liberation Movement
The Women's Liberation Movement was a movement made up of various groups that were part of the Second Wave Feminism Movement. It was popular between the years 1960 and 1980. The Hippie Movement
The Hippie Movement was a movement that advocated most of what would be considered liberal or left-wing ideas. These included racial justice, women's rights, and peace. Massive government and industry computers had already existed for some time. However, the invention of the personal computer was one of the most earth-shaking events in the history of mankind. The Personal computer has increased the efficiency and ability of the average person enormously.

Bill Clinton Impeachment

Operation Desert Storm
