Made the Move to Blackfalds

Outdoor Love
My love for the outdoors formed at a young age; having a fantastic view such as this may have contributed to my ever-growing love of the outdoors. -

Wuss
For Christmas in 1997, my grandparents surprised all of us with our amazing basset hound puppy, Wuss. She passed away in 2008. She was a huge part of all of our lives; she was more than just a dog. -
Not a Dancer...
My sister and I were in ballet for a few years... but it didn't last long... we're not exactly very graceful. Enough said? ;) -
Pets, pets, pets!
Growing up, my family had TONS of different kinds of pets! From hedgehods, guinea pigs, dogs and cats, to birds, turtles and rabbits galore! We really had them all! -
Some kind of injury...
Growing up, I had countless injuries! From my ungraceful dance moves (which led to this cast pictured!), to running into glass coffee tables with my forehead... I always seemed to be injured, in one way or another. Har-har! -

The Mechanic In Me...
In high school, I fell in love with mechanics and shop class. Maybe my mechanically-inclined father (and boyfriend!) had something to do with this growing passion for hands-on work! =P -

Started the College Journey
After working at a daycare in Edmonton for just about two years, in Spring of 2010, I decided to go move back to Red Deer and go back to school for upgrades. I had my heart set on getting into the Middle Years program at Red Deer College (collaboratively with the University of Alberta) for my Bachelor of Education! Whoop whoop! =D -
