Samson was a not an ordinary man, he was chosen by God to be Israel's last great judge, he also had extraordinary strength. Samson didn't obey God's commands and was imprisoned by the Philistines, Samson pleaded with God to give him great strength one last time after he had been tied to a temple and had his eyes gouged out. This is important because it shows how God can give us extraordinary abilities that can help us through our lives.
