10/02/1835	Battle of Gonzales	In the early dawn of october 2 ,the texans attack the mexicans in this battle.The texans paint a black cannon barrel on a white flag and the words" COME AND TAKE IT!" And then our fellow texans won the Battle of Gonzales!:)
11/04/1835	consultation of 1835	The Consultation reconvened november 4 in San Felipe to form a new government.They didn't decide whether to declare independence from mexico,or pledge to uphold the repudiated mexican constitution of 1824.They have Sam Houston as commander in chief for the texans.
12/05/1835	The siege of San Antonio	Under Ben Milam,texans launch an assault on San Antonio.Santa Anna recieves declaration fron mexican congress.And is saying that all foreigners taken in arms against the government ,that they should be treated as pirates and shot.
02/23/1836	Starting of the Battle of the Alamo	Santa Anna enters San Antonio which means WAR!:) The Alamo comes under artillery fire from mexican troops.But unfortunately, the mexicans win this battle.:(
03/01/1836	convention of 1836	The convention of 1836,elected delegates convenes at Washington on the Brazos.They followed the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence,which was written by George Childress .Delegates thought and developed theTexas Constitution.
03/02/1836	Texas Declaration of Independence	The texas declaration of independence is signed and the republic of texas is declared .David G. Burnett is elected interim president by the delegates.Some of the delegates were even in some of the battles.
03/06/1836	The fall of the alamo	The alamo falls!:( The mexicans destroyed the alamo along with people from the texans side.REMEMBER THE ALAMO!:)
03/11/1836	Runaway Scrape march 11-april 21 1836	The texans were full of terror and panic among the settlements of texas.Colonists gathered few possessions ,abandoning their homes,and heading eastward under most difficult conditions.Some got sick and died, and some lived.
03/19/1836	The battle of coleto creek march 19-20	General urrea defeats colonel james fannin near goliad/coleto creek.Fannin surrenders/dies.A few escaped the battle but most were killed.:(
03/27/1836	goliad massacre	James Fannin and nearly 400 texans executed by order of Santa anna.Houston and his army camp near San Felipe de Austin.
04/20/1836	battle of san jacinto	Texan army and sam houston overwhelmingly defeats mexican force under santa anna,securing texas independence.WE DEFINITELY WON THIS WAR AND GOT OUR INDEPENDENCE!:)
