The author does call it a dark horse, but hey, the fact that School Library Journal is predicting your book as a possible Newberry winner? The mention alone has to be pretty cool.

09/24/2011	Author Site	Kelly Barnhill's Website I decided to visit the author's site on this day. Her website is a blog that's run by wordpress. It is not a publisher's website. She hasn't mentioned her book in a little while, but there is a link to its Facebook page. There are 128 people who like this book.
10/01/2011	Facebook Page	TMTSoJ Facebook Today, I decided to visit the Facebook page for TMTSoJ. The author posts information about upcoming readings, as well as links to blog posts and reviews. According to the page, most of the reviews have been pretty positive.
10/02/2011	Good Reads Visit	Good Reads Today, I visited the page for TMTSoJ on goodreads.com. There are over 1,000 reviews on the page. Reactions on the page are more mixed than the reviews from publishers and blogs. It receives a lot more two and three star ratings than I expected from the reviews posted.
10/04/2011	Purchased	Today, I bought the book from the local Barnes and Noble. It was on a display of promising fiction for kids. I will add the book to the library's collection tomorrow.

11/15/2011	Nomination!	YALSA A blog post lets me know that TMTSoJ has been nominated for the Young Adults Library Services Association's award for Best Fiction for Young Adults. The winner will be announced in January.

The post is written in a very funny style, and the poster really liked the book. She posted three links to other blog reviews of TMTSoJ, and there were 6 comments. 2 were irrelevant to the novel, but the other 4 intended to read the book.
