01/01/1982	Nokia Morbira Senator	It may look like a boombox rather than a phone, but this device was nokias first phone. The Nokia Morbira Senator was used in cars, and weighed around 21 pounds!
01/01/1993	Bell South/lBM Simon personal communicator	The bell south was the first phone in history to have any PDA features! It was a phone, pager, and calculator, address book, fax machine and email device. It weighed 20 ounces and cost $900
01/01/1996	Motorola StarTAC	Before this phone was introduced cell phones were more about function rather than fashion. This mobile proved that phones should be able to function as well as look good. They could easily be clipped onto a pocket or belt and only weighed about 3.1 ounces
01/01/1999	Nokia 6160 and Nokia 8260	In the late 1990s these phones were all the rage! These phones had am boxy frame. The Nokia 6160 was the bestselling handset of the 90s. it was 5.2 inches tall and weighed 6 ounces. The Nokia 8260 added a colourful case and wasn’t as bulky as the 6160. It was 4 inches tall and weighed 3.4 ounces.
01/01/2001	Handspring Treo 180	This phone had a memory of 16MB. This phone was said to be more PDA than phone. This phone came in two type one with a QWERTY keyboard for typing and one that used graffiti text input instead.
01/01/2002	Danger Hiptop	The PC world liked it so much they named it product of 2003. While its voice capabilities were only mediocre. It was the first phone to successfully enable people to use to internet to check emails and instant message friends.
01/01/2003	Nikia N-Gage	This device was a combination of a phone and a gaming device. The idea was to lure gamers away from their portable devices. Instead it earned scorn from its shape and the fact that you have to hold It side ways to make a call.
01/01/2004	Motorola Razr V3	Cell phones have continued to get thinner and more stylish over the years. The Motorola Razr took it to a new level with its super slim lines and sleek metallic look it quickly became a must have accessory
01/01/2007	Apple IPhone	After months of rumours. Apple confirmed they were going to produce a cell phone. The device featured a touch sensitive screen, a two megapixel camera, the ability to sync your iTunes collection to your phone and it will run on mac.
