12/11/1862 | Fredericksburg | A confederate victory, burnside did not receive his pontoon bridges in time to cross the river so the confederacy blocked him off. he had to build the bridges while being fired at, then the fighting continued on the other side |

04/30/1863 | Chancellorsville | Lee sent his army to intercept the northern army at Chancellorsville. There was a forest so you couldnt see where the other side was. Lee sent Jackson to attack the army from the side and push them back. He did this and the Confederacy won |

05/18/1863 | Vicksburg | The union needed vicksburg to gain control of the mississippi, and the confederates in Vicksburg surrendered after they ran out of food. the confederacy was split in half and the Union Army won. |

07/01/1863 | Gettysburg | While the confederate soldiers were looking for cheap shoes in gettysburg they ran into the union forces and a battle that lasted for three days took place. on the last day, the confederate cannonade didnt work which caused the confederate's charge to fail and the union to win |
