The french and indian war_tiny 10/27/1755 The French and Indian War The French and Indian War is the war between French and British struggle for territory and power. After the war, the British had no money to pay for the army, so they want the colonies to pay for them. But the British were making taxes without reprsentation, so it made the colonies very angry.
The proclamation of 1763_tiny 10/27/1763 The Proclamation of 1763 The Proclamation of 1763 is the order that King George III made to the colonies and the Native American. A line that separate the colonies and the Native American.(in between the Appalachian Mt., settlers stay west, colonies stay east.)But the colonies were upset about this because the king unjust use of government power and the farmer only can find new land in the west of the mountains. Later this event led to the revolution.
Stamad2_tiny 03/22/1765 The Stamp Act The Stamp Act is law that the colnies need to buy a stamp for paper that they used. People were angered this act because they felt that taxation without reprsentation was unfair and the idea of higher taxes.Later this event led to the revolution.
The quartering act_tiny 10/27/1765 The Quartering Act After the Stamp Act, there are aonther act passed down, the Quartering Act. The Quartering act is a law that the colonial assemblies to provide British troops with quarters. They were mad of this law because they have to pay for the soldiers but they did nothing.
The townshend act_tiny 10/27/1767 The Townshend Acts Charles Townshend believed that is very improtant to have army to keep the colonies good. So he asked in Parliament to dare to make the colonies pay for the army. So the Townshen Acts passed out, but it made the colonies very angry because they don't they should pay for the army also they army did not do anything for them.
The boston massacre_tiny 10/27/1768 The Boston Massacre In this event, the British soldiers killed 5 Bostonians, and 10 were injured. It was killing of defenseless people. The colonies began resented back to the British, they making fun of the soldiers, and led the dog to nip their heels. And they started to fight.
The tea act_tiny 10/27/1773 The Tea Act The Tea Act is to lowered the cost of the tea that was sold by the British East India Company. Which means putt taxes on the tea. The British East India Company control all the tea sales in the colonies.Only the people chosen by the company can sales tea in the colonies. The colonies were angry, they don't led the British's ships unloading their cargoes. Later on, the people start to protest.
The boston tea party_tiny 12/16/1773 The Boston Tea Party The Tea Act made the people very mad, that's why the Boston Tea Party happened.They started to protest. When the British East India Company's ships arrive, protesters threw 342 chests of tea overboard. This will cause the Intolerable Acts, how the British's punish them.
The first continental congress_tiny 09/02/1774 The First Continental Congress After the tea trouble, some 50 leaders from 12 colonies met in Philadelphia, to delegates the British colonies on North American. This was called the First Continental Congress. Many delegates were Loyalists, but some of them were very don't like what does the British do to them. Later they sended a message to the king,and they agreed have a meeting again. This is kind of a fight between ou self.Some people like the British, some were not. This is the maine reason led to the revolution.

The British decide to punish them. some of them are: Closed Boston Harbor to all shipping until the ruined tea was paid for. Placed the gorvernment of Massachusetts firmly under British control. Pay more troops for British. Also some of them will be forced to drink tea.
