09/25/1990	Destiny's Child	She formed this group at age nine it oringally was called Girl's Tyme, in 1990 with childhood friends.
03/03/1997	Alicia's Music Career!	Not only talanted, but also extremely intelligent, Keys graduated as a valedictorian at the young age of 16. She was later accepted into Columbia University but never attended, because she wanted to focua on her music carrer full time. Her first proffesional job was wrinting and recording the song "Dah Dee Dah (Sexy Thing)" for the 1997 blockbuster hit Men in Black.
09/29/1998	Destiny Childs First Album	They did really well they didn't do like millions but people liked it enough that they contounied to record new songs. Ome of their big hits was "Say My Name" they won 2 Grammy Awards.
04/04/2000	Alicia's Music Career Continues	She then met influencial and legendary music personality Clive Davis, who signed her to Arista records. Davis and Keys late moved to J records, Keys being the first artist to sign with this now successful label. She recorded several more songs for feature films including Shaft (2000) and Dr. Dolittle (2001), until the release of her debut album Songs in A Minor. The title paid homage to both her classical traning and her young age.
06/17/2003	First Hit Album	It sold close to three million copies in the United States in it's first six months.She was a smash hit overseas well with, "Crazy in Love" single at the album reaching the top of BillBoard's European sales charts.
08/30/2003	Grammy Award's	She has 16 Grammy's all from between the years 2001-2010.She has gotten them from Group Performances, Best R&B Vocal Performance... and lots more
09/02/2003	Aretha Franklin Releases "So Damn Happy"	This is Aretha's first studio album since 1998's Gold-certified record A Rose Is Still A Rose. The album included the Grammy-winning track "Wonderful".
11/18/2003	One Wish: The Holiday Album	Whitney Houston delivered One Wish: The Holiday Album, her first Christmas record, a year after her 2002 comeback, Just Whitney. If it seemed like that record played it safe, that's nothing compared to One Wish, which is the straightest adult contemporary record Houston had released in years.
06/06/2005	Alicia's Career!	This album went on to sell over 10 million units across the globe and win Keys five Grammy Awards, which included Best New Artist and Song of the Year for her smash hit “Fallin’.” Overnight, Keys became a formidable name in the music industry.She followed up her debut album in 2003 with The Diary of Alicia Keys. It sold a staggering 618,000 copies in its first week, making it the second highest sales for an R&B female and the sixth highest for any female artist.

A global icon, she is the recipient of some of the highest honors accorded any single music artist, including the much-coveted Presidential Medal Of Freedom, a Kennedy Center Honor, American National Medal of the Arts Award and an unprecedented 18 Grammy Awards (including Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for eight consecutive years).
