10/27/1755 French and Indan war It was a war between the French and the British. During the war Quebec was captured and Britain became the largest and most powerful empire.
10/27/1763 Proclamation of 1763 After the french and Indian War.King George III wanted to stop the violence between them. An imaginary line was drawn down the crest of the Appalachian Mts in that the colonists must stay on the east and the Native Americans on the west. And it upset the colonists.
10/27/1765 Stamp Act There was a huge debt from the French and Indian War. George Greenville issued a tax to gain more momey from the colonists.
10/27/1765 Quartering Act Colonist were required to provide their homes and goods for British soldiers. Cost just as much muney to provide for soldiers than to pay taxes.
10/31/1767 Townshend Act Charles Townshend belived that the british troops should stay in America. He passed a iaw saying that was tax on goods importet from Britain such as glass,paint,paper and tea.Samuel Adams led a boycott on these goods and led meny protests.
10/27/1770 Boston Massacre Boston patriots wewe the most rebellious in the colonies. British troops were sent to keep control and colonists responded by calling them lobsterbacks.
10/27/1773 Tea Act Lord North attempted to rescue the British East India company that controlled trade. So he place a tax on tea which once again upset the colonists.
